Walk-On’s Restaurant Before Leaving University

Life Updates

Hi, thanks for waiting for my next post! Last week was a very busy week for me unfortunately. I had finals week for my classes, and had a lot of studying I had to do to prepare for my exams. I had Digital Logics, Stats for Engineering Students, and Systems and Feedback for exams. I also had my last presentation for Japanese. Not to mention that my last exam was on Friday, but I also had to move out! This is because next semester, I will be working first at an internship, then I will study abroad for a semester! I have a lot to talk about why I needed to move out, and partially why I wanted to make this blog, but as an overview, this is because of all the things I will be doing such as study abroad and also work before returning back to school!

Food!

Before talking about all that stuff, I wanted to talk about what happened after I had my exam. Before I moved out, I was trying to look for a place to eat. At my school there is a thing called dining dollars, which after buying a meal plan, can be used at any restaurant on campus. I had exactly $11 left, and tried to look for a place. Unfortunately, every place on campus was closed but one place, which was Walk-On’s. So I decided to stop there for food! If you don’t know, Walk-On’s is a Louisiana inspired restaurant serving Southern and Cajun-inspired food and has many sports inspired origin, such as the name walk-on. I also enjoyed watching basketball games that were also shown on their tvs.

I ended up ordering the bayou pasta, which was one of the recommended pastas! If you look above that is the tasty food that I got to order. It had nicely cooked shrimp and crawfish, with a very good sauce that complements the pasta and seafood well!

I definitely recommend going to a Walk-On’s if you are interested in trying some Cajun food! But if you fiending for more food like Walk-On’s, please try to see if you can make a trip to New Orleans. I went there once to have the seafood, and it was like no other place you could ever go to for food.
