Camera Showcase!

Hi guys, thanks for reading my introduction blog! It was a bit short, but I hope you guys are able to learn a thing or two about me. Right now, I am in the middle of my final exams, so I don’t have much brain capacity to write. Currently locking down for my Controls & Feedback and Probability for Electrical Engineers classes, but I wanted to put something up on my blog just to get another post out. Specifically, I thought about going over what camera equipment I have!

If you don’t know, I am a big camera person. Specifically, I am a pretty big videographer. In high school, I was part of my schools news team, and I helped produce school news and announcement videos every other day. On my blog page, you can also see my Instagram linked on the main page which has some content I have made before. In terms of video content, I have some big things happening next year, so I hope I can make more content for that.

Back to the camera, the camera I chose was the camera that my school news team used. Specially because it can record in 4K 60fps. The camera is the Lumix G7 and I have the default lens that came with it, which is a 14-140mm zoom lens. Its pretty adept at getting any shot that is needed with it’s large zoom range, but I feel that the quality at each zoom has a lot more that could be desired. For now this camera lens works, but in the future I plan on picking up a smaller range lens maybe around 10-50mm so I can use it for more higher quality recording.

Actually looking back, I have one more lens technically, which is the Dispo Lens I got online. Its a ~$50 lens which is meant to recreate a disposable camera. For me, the reason why I just wanted a smaller lens was just to have a lighter camera to carry around and also take some retro photos too. The quality is a lot lower than my regular lens of course, but it has some nice retro flair that not easy to recreate unless I get deep into photo/video editing.

Besides that, thanks for reading my blog! The next couple days are going to be a bit rough with exams, so I’ll plan to write more after the end of this week. Thanks for understanding!
